Boko Haram: State of Emergency may be extended

Due to the unending deadly activities of the Boko Haram sect, the National Defence Council met at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa to decide if the state of emergency in some North Easters States of Nigeria would have to be extended or not.
The affected States are  Borno, Yobe and Adamawa.

The 3rd phase of state of emergency imposed on these states by the president will expire on Thursday which may have prompted this meeting today to determine the next line of action.
Though there has been media  speculations that the president may impose total military rule in the states since the partial imposition seems not to be yielding any Tangible result.

If the speculations works as thought, a military administrator will be appointed to take charge of the administration of the States.
Do you think that would be the best option for the president?
