A lady did what was best for her to rekindle her life with
vigour instead of suicide which many in her shoes would have opted for after
her long-term boyfriend, disappointed her right a week before their wedding
day. Her wedding photographer suggested a trash the dress photoshoot after the
wedding was cancelled.
Shelby Swink, from Tennessee, turned a celebrity when she
chose to take a photo-shoots of herself just after she trashed her wedding gown
with paints. She starred in a "trash the dress" photoshoot
to help celebrate what she called a "new beginning".

Shelby told BuzzFeed that she would’ve never accepted a pity
party but instead chose to celebrate her new beginning. “A pity party was the
farthest thing from what I wanted or needed,”
Shelby went to her Instagram page to say : "Had an
absolutely AMAZING time trashing my dress with these lovely ladies! Such an
awesome and liberating experience!"
She said her parents, her paid for the dress, were "100%
supportive" and even brought cigars and champagne along for the pictures.
