Today 24th September,2014 was all confusion at the Ekiti State High Court when thugs alleged to be sponsored by the State Governor elect besieged and invaded the court room and beat up Judge, Justice Adeyeye for reason that he insulted the Governor elect.
The confusion led to the suspension of activities by the court workers as they all abandoned their work to seek for safety.
A witness confirmed that trouble started when the Judge ask Mr Fayose to to talk to his supporters not disturb the court activities with war song chants in support of their master, Fayose but instead the thugs pounded on the Judge and gave him a beating of his life when they presumed there was a misunderstanding between the Judge and their boss, Fayose'
The Police used minimal force to calm down the situation. They had to spray tear gas to dislodge the surging crowd.
So far, the victim, Justice Adeyeye is said to be receiving treatment at a private hospital in Ado-Ekiti, the State capital city.
