On October 5 2014, Africa’s biggest reality show, Big Brother Africa will be Launched, The organisers tagged this season 9 of the show "Hotshots" The housemates are Ellah from Uganda and Butterphly from Zimbabwe, Alusa from Kenya,
This years show was initially scheduled to commence on the 7th of September, but had to be postponed due to a fire outbreak on Tuesday, September 2., at Sasani Studios in Johannesburg, South Africa where the show usually takes place.
According to the organisers, three Big Brother housemates will be introduced on a daily basis starting from the 18th of September. This will be followed by regular updates on social media.
