BOKO HARAM: BOMB SCARE IN JOS, PLATEAU, NIGERIA

It was pandemonium and panic in Jos the Capital city of Plateau State of  Nigerian when it was discovered by some Muslim faithfuls that came to conduct their jummat prayers that a tinted 505 Peaugeot saloon was parked near where they hold their prayers unattended to.
The area is Dogon karfe arear of Jos North LGA.
The bomb scare caused heavy traffic jam along major roads in the town as motorists avoided the Dogon Karfe axis which links other parts of the town.
However the State Police Command denied the existence of bomb in the said vehicle but it was gathered that its Bomb Disposal Unit detonated the bomb before it could explode. Whose report do we accept?

Meanwhile, the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Abuh Emmanuel said,
“the attention of the Police was drawn to a certain car parked at Dogon Karfe. When it was searched, it was found to contain personal effects but we are investigating to know the owner of the vehicle and why it was packed there for such a long time.”
    Hmmmm, Interesting indeed.

He went ahead to assure residents not to panic but go about their business as “the bomb disposal unit had combed the car and discovered that it contained some items like clothings and other personal effects of no value as such.

  God help us.
