UPDATE ON THE CHIBOK GIRLS RELEASE

     

CHIBOK GIRLS

 On the Chibok girls release update,  Defence Spokesperson, Chris Olukolade, confirmed the development. He said the exercise was still ongoing and that appropriate statement would be made soon.
Over 200 school girls were kidnapped from their secondary school in Chibok, Borno State, Nigeria on April 14th, 2014.
"Details of the negotiations that led to the release of the girls is unclear at this time." He said such details would only be provided later.
