   What could be explained or described by many as abomination happened on Monday in Ogun State Nigeria when a retired  police officer identified as Sunday Isokpehi aged 60 years killed his son, His wife-Gladys aged 40 years and finally shot himself too with a double barreled gun.

      Trouble started looming when Mr Sunday came back to his house on Sunday and noticed his wife, Gladys drunk and misbehaving. He engaged her in a chat but she tends to be non-co operative and aggressive to her husband. This resulted in a tensed argument which resulted in Sunday displaying his professional Skills on her wife and child. He ran into the room and came out with a double barreled gun, shot his wife who died at the spot. The son got his shot too because he was acting as a mediator between the two love birds. A neighbour confirmed that this is not the first time the wife is getting drunk, and Mr Sunday has always warned the wife to desist from the dirty act but she wouldn't listen.

The police spokesman investigating the case had this to say..

“We are still investigating the immediate and remote causes of the tragic incident. We will find out whether the man was depressed or was under any influence, because a normal human being will not open fire on his wife and then kill himself. We will investigate how he got the double-barreled Gun he used to commit the dastardly act. Isokpehi retired from service in March from the Special Anti-Robbery Squad unit, Lagos Police Command.

    So far, the three dead bodies has so far being deposited in the morgue while the investigation is on by the police.
