Alicia keys an American R & B singer and a multiple Grammy Award winner, has called on all stakeholders involved in the course for the release of the Chibok girls abducted by Boko Haram. She spoke in a television interview monitored on CNN.
Alicia ranked 10th by Billboard magazine in America spoke as the group " Bring Back our Girls" Campaigners held a candle light vigil to mark the 180th day since the school girls were abducted. She said she took it upon herself to put it on spotlight the fate of the girls noting its an act of wickedness to have the girls for 6months now.

“Putting the spotlight on these girls is very, very important to me and I thought that it is my job to help shine the light on what is going on and show people: this is still happening and we must not forget

“Six months and nobody is back and the girls are just there because of the need of education and they are abducted? So that is why we must say that we are not allowing this to dissipate, no, we are going to continue to say we are not standing for this, it is not okay,” Keys said.
