Chief Driver of Nasarawa state Governor shot Dead by Gunmen

Mr. Abdullahi Mairuwa, the chief driver of Nasarawa state Governor Umaru Al- Makura was shot and killed on saturday, November 8 by unknown gunmen while traveling with his wife, Salamatu.
The unidentified gunmen ambushed Mr. Abdullahi and wife on their way to Keana LGA from Lafia at Tudun
Adabu village in the Obi Local Government Area of the state and shot him twice in the chest while the wife watched.
She was asked not to panick by the killers as they were not going to harm her rather were only sent to kill the husband only.
He has since been buried according to Islamic rights.

The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, ASP Is mail a Numan confirmed the incident. He said:
“The report we got from the scene indicated that Mairuwa’s killers shot him at close range in the presence of his wife before escaping through a
bush path.’’

Popular Igbo Business Mogul Killed by Unknown Gunmen in Bauchi State.


     Mr John Udeh (aka John Bosco) a popular Business mogul has been shot and killed by unknown gunmen in Bauchi State near his house at Federal Low-cost Housing Estate in the state capital. Mr John was driving home with his wife and two of his apprentice arround 6:pm on wednesday 29th, when the unknown masked men ambushed and shot him dead on the spot.
According to an eye witness, One of his Apprentice - Chimezie Ugwu “When I heard his horn, I opened the gate then I heard gun shots and I ran back. He was about to drive in when he was shot,”

Though there has been many twist to the story but reports says a senior official of the ministry has given node to confirm the development.

Explosion Rocks Bauchi State. 5 people killed




     An explosion was reported yesterday around 9:45pm at a Bus station in Azare Bauchi state of nigeria.
According to an eye witness Musa Babale.......
“We had a huge blast at exactly 9:45pm. We realised it had come from the bus station.The whole place was a mess”.
Another eye witness Mauzu Ibrahim said......
“We found the place cordoned off by soldiers and police, From where I stood I saw bodies being put in a van.”

Pastor In Trouble For Alleged Rape of A 19-year Old Lady In Ekiti

     A popular Pastor, popularly Known as Pastor Anthony Arogunmasa aged 29-years old, in Ekiti State has been nabbed by the police for allegedly raping a 19-year old lady (Names Withheld) on pretense of conducting deliverance on her. But the Pastor said told police that the lady is his girl friend , while she said he raped her. So which one do we believe?

2015: I wont Dump APC for PDP - Rochas Okorocha




        Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State has rubbished reports that he will dump the All Progressive Congress (APC) for The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

 The Governor through his media spokeperson described the report credited to a “faceless group”, the Imo Progressives and Consultative Assembly, signed by two “fictitious persons”, Nze Benjamin Irohah and Benjamin Ogoke as coordinator and secretary, as unfounded and malicious, The Nation reports.

Ebola: Delta releases three after they tested negative to Ebola

   Two indigenes and a Sierra Leonean have been released by the Delta State government after they tested negative to the deadly Ebola Virus.

It was gathered that following
information that the trio were traveling to the state from Liberia and Sierra Leone, the Technical sub-committee of the Delta State Inter-Ministerial Ebola Preparedness and Response Committee, immediately swung into action and got them detained.

The trio were picked from the Lagos border before placing them on
surveillance for signs and symptoms of the deadly disease.

Dr Michael Omatsola, Permanent
Secretary in the Ministry of Health, told journalists in Asaba that the State Rapid Response Team (SRRT) got wind that the three persons were heading to Delta and activated mechanisms to ensure that they were certified Ebola free.

However, the three persons were
allowed to go about their normal
businesses when they failed to exhibit any signs and symptoms of the Ebola Virus Disease after they were observed for the stipulated 21 days.

Omatsola spoke during a Training of
Trainers (TOT) workshop on Ebola Virus Disease, organized by the sub-
committee for doctors, nurses,
pharmacists, laboratory scientists,
disease surveillance officers and
scientific officers in the state.

At the event which held in Delta North Senatorial district, he revealed that so far, seven other persons suspected to have the EVD have had their blood samples screened by the sub-committee at the Virology laboratories in Lagos and Port-Harcourt, disclosing that they
all returned negative.

“The State Rapid Response Team
responded swiftly to every call of
suspected Ebola cases to nip in the bud any likely confirmed case from
spreading to other persons in the
State’’, he added.

He urged health personnel to desist
from turning away persons that present with symptoms similar to the EVD, urging them to endeavour to observe every universal safety precautions when handling suspected patients.

He advised that patients could easily die of diarrhea if left unattended, stressing that most cases of vomiting and stooling of blood were not necessarily Ebola.
