Tension in Owerri Imo State as youths kill one Hausa Trader

There is tension now in Owerri the capital city of Imo State as one Hausa trader at Mbaise Road junction identified as Saidu was bitten to death by some angry youths and indigenes of the capital city.
Trouble started when some youths from Umuodu community went to collect "their revenue" (Marching ground fee) from some traders who
operates at the Mbaise road junction when an augment between the revenue collectors and the hausa traders who argued about the amount to be paid and the frequency of the pay.

The argument got heated up that the hausa trader insisted that he
would not pay immediately since he has not sold much for the day pulled out his dagger and stabbed somebody among them.
The action angered the youths who suddenly pounced on the trader and cut him in pieces with matchet.

The gory scene cost stampede along the road and among traders and passerby's as armed police men and army were drafted to the scene to quell the situation.

The Imo State Police Public Relation Officer (PPRO) Andrew Enwerem, said that he cannot comment on the incident because he has not gotten the full details of what happened but promise to talk to newsmen when the got the full detail.

47 Students killed today at Government comprehensive secondary school, Potiskum, Yobe, by a Suicide bomber

About 47 school children were killed today while 79 others sustained various degrees of injuries today Monday 10 after a suspected Boko
Haram suicide bomber attacked
students of Senior Science Secondary School, Potiskum, Yobe state.

An eyewitness who confirmed the incident said the sight was too horrific to behold as the school compound was littered with body parts of these children who were waiting to be addressed by the school principal before the suicide bomber who probably may have worn same uniform with the students been and finally blew them up in pieces.

Another survivor, Musa Ibrahim Yahaya, who spoke to the AP news agency from his hospital bed, while receiving treatment for head injuries said:
“We were waiting for the principal to address us, around 7:30 a.m., when we heard a deafening sound and I was blown off my feet, people started screaming and running, I saw blood all over my body.”

A hospital staff in where some of the victims were been treated told an AFP reporter that he counted 48 corpses and other injured victims of the blast who may need amputations and other surgical procedures but claimed their major challenge was space accommodate all.

The Nigeria Police spokesman Emmanuel Ojukwu confirmed the incident and gave the casualty figures.

Banker Killed Two Girl Friends, Stocked them in a Suitcase Then Called the Police to Surrender himself



Rurik Jutting.

   A British man and a banker in Hong Kong identified as Rurik Jutting has allegedly killed two “girl friends” in his apartment, stocked them in a suitcase and called the police. The two ladies who are Indonesians aged between 25 to 30 years were found in different locations in the same building. 
According to a reort from CNN, One of the victims was discovered stuffed inside a suitcase on the balcony of the 31st-floor apartment. The other was found lying inside with cuts on her body.

     Burkina Faso citizens protests to false the Incumbent president Mr. Compaore to step down. Reports say a huge crowd in their different army and groups are actually heading to the presidential palace.

Five people have been killed in the protests, as the military are said to be firing live bullets towards the protesters.
Mr Compaore first took power through a coup in 1987, and has never stepped down. He has won four disputed elections since then.
It seems this is familiar with African leaders...Power Hungry!

Popular Igbo Business Mogul Killed by Unknown Gunmen in Bauchi State.


     Mr John Udeh (aka John Bosco) a popular Business mogul has been shot and killed by unknown gunmen in Bauchi State near his house at Federal Low-cost Housing Estate in the state capital. Mr John was driving home with his wife and two of his apprentice arround 6:pm on wednesday 29th, when the unknown masked men ambushed and shot him dead on the spot.
According to an eye witness, One of his Apprentice - Chimezie Ugwu “When I heard his horn, I opened the gate then I heard gun shots and I ran back. He was about to drive in when he was shot,”

Nollywood Actor - Onyeka Killed By Stray Bullet In Asaba


   Clems Onyeka, Nollywood actor who hails from Ikeduru LGA in Imo state was today 14th October,  killed by a stray bullet in Asaba, the Delta state capital, during an exchange of gunfire between suspected robbers and a detachment of policemen.
News has it that the stray bullet that killed Onyeka emanated from a sought of gun battle between some Armed robbers who attempted to rob a bullion van and some police men escorting the bullion van.

A Yaba Chief Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday in Lagos remanded in prison a 33-year- old man, William Ime, whoallegedly murdered his 10-year-old daughter.
  The Magistrate, Yewande Aje-Afunwa, who gave the order, said the accused should remain behind bars pending advice from the State Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
