APC Presidential primaries; Buhari, Kwankwaso, Rochas leading

While the APC presidential primary election is sorted out, votes in the
various ballot boxes continues mentioning the name of Muhamadu Buhari more times than the other candidates.

Governor of Kano state, Rabiu Kwankwaso and Rochas Okorocha seems to be following.
While Atiku Abubakar is scarcely heard.

   On Monday 8th December, 2014, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) conducted their gubernatorial primaries in many states across the country to elect the party's flag bearers for the upcoming 2015 general elections.

So far, many results has been announced while some are still pending due to some reasons or the other.

Meanwhile the Party postponed the
Ogun and Taraba governorship primaries indefinitely while that of  Kwara state was canceled.

Shocker: Labaran Maku Loses Nasarawa state PDP Guber Primaries

The former minister of information, Labaran Maku could not win the Nasarawa state PDP primaries as  Yusuf Agabi got the better of the day  with 214 votes, while Maku got 160 votes.

Other aspirants are Solomon Ewuga who got 31, Doma 129, Damishi Luka 12, Bala Yakubu 4, Chris Mamman 1, and Mike Abdul 28 votes respectively.

Internal democracy I think is happening now in Nigeria.

Nyesom Wike just won Rivers PDP Governorship primaries

The embattled Former minister of state for education Nyesom Wike contesting for 2015 Rivers governorship position has won the just concluded Rivers State PDP governorship primaries.

Wike had 1, 083 votes out of 1,108 votes casted.

Desmond Elliot Wins APC Primaries for 2015 Elections in Lagos state

Nollywood folks who are venturing into politics seems to be seeing green lights in their new adventure.

This is true as Nollywood act Desmond Elliot who wants to contest for the Surulere constituency seat in the Lagos State House of Assembly come 2015, under the All Progressive Congress has won the parties primaries.

Elliot defeated the incumbent and two term member, Kabiru Lawal in the party's primaries conducted yesterday Tuesday November 2nd in Lagos.
