Wonders: 13-year Old Girl Pregnant for Step Father in Abuja

Mr Benjamin Richard, 35yrs has been nabbed by the police for allegedly raping and impregnating his 13-year-old step- daughter, Blessing Chia in Abuja.

According to Vanguard , Blessing revealed that she was regularly beaten by her step dad before
he started raping her. Blessing said she has been subjected to rape by her step dad several times but was scared of shouting or telling anyone.

Blessing said her step dad raped her four times while her mum was away in Markudi, Benue State back in July.
The 13-year old however had enough and summoned the courage to report to her mum on Thursay, Nov. 13.
I told him that I would
tell my mummy and I dared to see if he would kill me. So l told my mummy,” the girl told
Vanguard.

Confirming the girl’s story, the mother, a 30-year old Benue State indigene, Grace Richard , told the
newspaper that when she returned from her trip, her daughter reported her husband to her. She however said when she confronted her husband with the allegations, he vehemently denied and threatened to beat her “black and blue” if she
confronts him with such allegation again.

According to the report, Grace invited her elder sister who upon hearing the issue insisted that
the matter be reported to the police. She was further advised to make Blessing undergo a virginity test before going to Nyanya Police
Division to report the matter.

The virginity test did not only collaborate Blessing’s allegations, it was also discovered that she was pregnant.
The investigating police officer, IPO, in charge of the case, who according to Vanguard does not want to be named, confirmed that the 13-year-
old Blessing was indeed pregnant and also revealed that the suspects is still in police custody.

Tragedy as a Strip Nightclub owned by police officer collapses in Abuja

The spate of building collapse in Nigeria is calling for answers to many unanswered questions by regulatory authorities just as a strip  nightclub in Abuja where ladies
dance naked has collapsed Friday
morning injuring about seven people
while another three are said to be
trapped under the rubble.

The strip club – Mimshack Arena in
Jikwoyi phase IV, a suburb of the city collapsed at about 10:30 a.m, is
said to be owned by one Assistant
Superintendent of Police Joseph
attached to the Special Anti Robbery
Squad (SARS)

club activities, including the Ladies’
Night on Wednesdays and Strip Night Dance on Fridays.

According to an eyewitness, the building supervisor had advised that the bamboo sticks, which supported the concrete deck, should not be removed yet until the time when its calculated to be due. But the owner instructed otherwise.

“But Oga (Joseph) come this morning, and give order to remove them (bamboos),” one of the workers disclosed.
The concrete deck was barely
two weeks’ old.

However, in a swift reaction, the  combined team of the FCT Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), National Emergency
Management Agency (NEMA), Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), Federal Fire Service (FFS), the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) and the Nigeria Police arrived with an excavator to clear the debris, and rescue those that were trapped under the collapsed building.

During the rescue operation, four persons with various degrees of injuries were rescued as many with various degrees of injuries were also rushed to a nearby clinic before being transfered to the Nyanya General Hospital.

Breaking: Chaos in Dei Dei Abuja as

      We just got a a report now that Dei Dei in Abuja the capital city of Nigeria is boiling. The report say about 5 persons has been confirmed dead while several cars has been burnt in a riot by two parties.
      An eye witness said the chaos began when a woman was knocked down by a motorcyclist popularly known as Okada. The incident that happened around the tomatoe junctio by timber shade caused some arguments among sympathizers and the okada man who got angry at the rate of blames being poured brought out a local dagger and stabbed about 5 persons.
    In reaction to the action, there was multiple outrage by people who now engaged each other in a fight. To fuel the situation, one of the victims of the stab collapsed and died instantly.

Residents got angry and started destroying things and burning cars and houses.

      The road around the area has been blocked by traffic, as people were seen leaving their cars to seek for safety first.
The situation is so hot that some mobile police men deployed to the area have been injured.
Let's hope they will calm down the situation.
