Remember I promised you an update on the bomb blast at Federal College of Education, Kontagora, Niger State.
A female suicide bomber blew herself up at the
Federal College of Education Kontagora, Niger state today November 12th. Although no one could say if the bomber is a student or not but it seems she infiltrated the students and blew herself up with some innocent students.
A lucky student of the school, miss Mary Okafor told a news agency AFP, that they were all preparing for their semester exams at the school library when they heard the sound from the bomb blast.
"We saw bodies on the ground between the
library and the female hostel. Among the
bodies were two dismembered women who we believe were the bombers. At least 10
students were killed and several others
injured. They have all been moved to the
general hospital. We have all been asked to
vacate the school. The authorities in the
town have asked all schools to close." she said.
