Nigeria minister of Petroleum Resources Diezani Madueke has been elected president of the
Organization of Petroleum Exporting
Countries (OPEC)
She is the first female president of (OPEC) and was elected at the 166th Ordinary Meeting of the organization presently held today 27th November in Vienna, Austria.
Alison-Madueke who is the first female president of OPEC replaces Libyan Vice Prime Minister for Corporations, Abdourhman Atahar Al-Ahirish.
