APGA ENDORESES JONATHAN FOR 2015

APGA ENDORSES JONATHAN
Not even the Peoples Democratic Party has endorsed Pres. Goodluck Jonathan yet as its candidate in the 2015 elections. But the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Today has gone ahead to endorse President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan as their presidential flag bearer in the 2015 general election.

Umeh who is currently at the Court of Appeal challenging his sack as the APGA national chairman by Justice Abdulkadir Kafarati of the Abuja Federal High Court said that in 2015, APGA would not field any presidential candidate in the election as the party would throw its weight behind President Jonathan.
Umeh commended INEC for the early release of the election time table. He said that the idea of conducting the election early enough ahead of the June 29 swearing-in date was to make sure that all the problems that might arise from the election would have been properly taken care of before the swearing-in date.
He said APGA was ready to take active part in the coming general election as the party is better positioned to have a good outing in some states across the country.
